It was not a difficult task to get the Sky Eater prepared for this next test session, another durability focused one. I was expecting resistance, but she seemed nonchalant about the matter. There was a dejected, miserable look on her face as I had taken her to the room we've prepared for this next experiment.

She takes orders easily, now.
This is the exact outcome that we were looking for.

Advanced plasma weaponry is a staple in modern day warfare. Compared to mere metal bullets, a high concentration blast can penetrate through steel as if it were a piece of paper. It would be a disappointment if after all this, the Sky Eater faltered to mere plasma rounds. After previous tests, mostly the battle against the AXIOM in Test #4, I am certain she is durable enough to take that kind of damage.

But I just wanted to be more confident in that.

There was some pushback from our subject as we restrained her arms and legs against the white table, cuffs attached against the metal chamber to stop movements from her limbs. It was troubling until I used my personal forcefield generation devices to overpower her enough to get her wrists and legs situated. Those restraints have Lock Coil technology layered inside of naxium steel, so any chance of escape was impossible. I would then go into observation room to observe the results from the window.

Slowly, the plasma cannon attached to the ceiling would lower, hovering above the Sky Eater as she shot it a terrified look. It took about a week for me to install it, and it was specifically for the purpose of this experiment. Of course, I would not use the plasma cannon to its full capabilities, though what I can do is slowly escalate the power higher and higher until I am certain of the experiments results.

Escalation 1 to 3's blasts would result in mild twitching, the Sky Eater clenching her teeth and grumbling harsh words I could not make out. Escalation 4 to 6's blasts would make her jolt, her body bucking against the restraints that held her as an audible creak could be heard from the lab table. Throughout each of the three laser shots, small pained squeals coming from the subject would resound through the glass. The tune of progress. I would ignore her cries of protest to turn the dial up to 7. An audible shriek was drowned out by the sound of plasma hitting her chest. Pained sighs and growls would follow, the girl violently squirming against the cold metal that held her captive. The plasma must have been burning her chest painfully, as I could now see that it had tore a hole through the fabric of her shirt. Beneath was singed flesh, rising up and down hastily due to my subject's panicked state. A second degree burn, from the looks of it.

Turning to look at me, Zu stared woefully, tears welling up in her eyes. A look of pleading for the pain to end, to release her from those restraints and let her free.

But there was never a chance that I would let her go.

Not until I have my results. That is what is most important here.

The completion of Project SKY EATER is my upmost priority.

Nothing will ever change that.

The escalation would be dialed up to 8. Then to 9.

And at last.. escalation level 10 was when her limit was reached.

I was the only one in the room that day. The others were tinkering with some new devices that we had been developing. These subordinates would ask me many questions about how the test session with the Sky Eater went.

It seems that the shrill sounds of today's experiment could be heard from the other room.

I would simply tell them that I will be needing to use the best medical equipment that we had available, our in-base Reverse Box. The Sky Eater has sustained harsh damages at this point, and I did not want them to expire. The Reverse Box that we had was able to perform its designated function of mending her body until it was in a state similar to what it was before the events of today, but she was still unconscious when the machine finished the job. I had to carry her back to her room.

Fantastic. Everything went just as planned.

I do not care for the look of concern on their faces or wary tone of their voices.

This is what must be done in order to create the perfect weapon for our kingdom. As she ages, the Sky Eater will inevitably become unruly and more difficult to control. This is why we must root such behavior out through any means necessary. Our methods will make the Sky Eater much more subservient to us. Such experiences should completely and utterly shatter any trace of rebellion in her head, and erase any thoughts that don't pertain to fulfilling the purpose that we have given her. Any obstructive sense of "self" should vanish, and dissociate into the abyss. This is the most efficient way for the Sky Eater to fit effortlessly into her place. It is our responsibility as the architects and masters of this weapon to maximize her ability to do everything we command her to, and minimize her ability to do or think anything else. We will complete that task to the very end. For it is our responsibility to create a great protector through any means necessary.

It is for the good of our world.

May PROJECT SKY EATER become a success.
