not dead, i just forgot that it probably would be good to update this blogpost page every once in awhile. in case it wasn't obvious i'm pretty reclusive, to say the least. i've been creating everything on this site all by myself this entire time, which is actually my preference and something that i enjoy, if you could believe it. so i'm not really partial to updating socials and stuff. such is the way of the hikikomori...

the best day of the year is here. happy halloween! mwa ha ha ha ha ha

i will conclude beelzubub and then do big site updates, things that i've been planning to do from the very start but couldn't because i wanted to stop at a good point. i think i've said that like three times at this point but i think i'm just really looking forward to it. maybe you'll have noticed that there are branching paths on the main index page. that is something i would like to expand upon greatly, as it is a core aspect of this wacky thing that i'm working on.

from that, will you get a trick or a treat? who knows. probably both. tricks and treats can sometimes be pretty alike, y'know. man some skittles, the chocolate milk with the bunny on it, and a gory fucked up anime from the 80s-90s would go pretty hard right now.

it has been ONE YEAR since this iteration of fables has started. im a bit late to it being exact, but its the thought that counts.
apologies for the hiatus, life started to throw a bunch of crazy curveballs at me and i had to get my bearings straight before my BRAIN exploded (not literally, at least i would hope not)

i want to get to a certain point in the story before working on the site features and the various things i want to add and revamp. since im starting to get tired of all of the meandering ive been doing with this project, were gonna marathon this shit until i get there. because there are a lot of parts of the story that i really want to get to. so new pages forever. capiche? capiche.

i wanted to say something after i finished this first little arc but i dont really know what. it took a bit longer than expected (all my homies HATE random health problems) to get to this point. i do want to get further into the main pages before focusing on the site itself and making sure everything is good on that front. and also adding many of the more ambitious things that ive been wanting to include for awhile. so uhhhhh expect that

welcome to this insane thing i have put together. if i'll be honest, i've been trying to make this project for about 6-7 years, and have been steadily improving my skills to create it. i don't really intend on stopping either since i've been maladaptively daydreaming about this little world i've created inside of my head for a very long time. so it's safe to say that i've been quite eager to work on this. and i'm also eager to show people some potentially pretty cool stuff.
this section of fables are lost isn't part of the canon, and will be just author updates and commentary. everything else has connotations with the in-universe lore, characters, and world. but at this point in time there won't be that much compared to what i have planned.
and for anyone wondering what happened to the previous "prologue" section of the comic, i decided to go a different route with the story and the format. but that stuff WILL come back in at one point as it is still important.
so, yeah. i hope i get far into it this time, because this webcomic literally lives rent free in my head.
